Dr. Bipul Kumar Choudhury is a distinguished endocrinologist with over two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience in the field of endocrinology and internal medicine. He obtained his MBBS (1997), MD in Medicine (2004), and DM in Endocrinology (2011) from Gauhati Medical College under Gauhati University, Assam.

Dr. Choudhury has served in key academic positions at Gauhati Medical College, including as Associate Professor of Endocrinology (2014–2022) and Assistant Professor (2012–2014), where he was actively involved in postgraduate teaching, clinical practice, and research. Presently, he is practicing as a Consultant Endocrinologist at NEMCARE Hospital, Guwahati, providing specialized care in diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic bone diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and reproductive endocrinology.

A Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (FACE), Dr. Choudhury is widely recognized for his scholarly contributions to endocrinology. His research has been published in several national and international peer-reviewed journals, and he has authored multiple book chapters in reputed medical updates. He received the Best Paper Award at the 59th National Conference of the Association of Physicians of India (Hyderabad, 2004).

Dr. Choudhury is an active member of numerous professional societies, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The Endocrine Society (USA), Endocrine Society of India, Indian Thyroid Society, and Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), among others. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Assam Endocrine Society, contributing to the advancement of endocrine science and patient care in the region.
